Intimate partner violence (IPV) affects the LGBTQ+ community at significant rates. However, sexual and gender minorities experience unique forms of abuse, such as identity abuse, threats of outing, and restriction of access to transition-related healthcare, that standard measures often miss.
A new systematic review published in Clinical Psychology Review evaluates how well our current psychometric tools are working to capture these lived realities.
